How to Mount the Gun Sling
Mounting the Sling | Padding and Stitching
What’s included:
- Gun sling
- Chicago Screws
What you’ll need:
- Firearm
- Swivels
- Flathead Screwdriver
In order to mount the sling you will need to purchase swivels or a swivel kit (if your firearm didn’t come with some). Our slings are generally 1″ wide at the tips so you will need the swivels to fit.
Step Two
Pull the tip of the gun sling through the swivel
Step Three
Insert the chicago screw with the smooth side on the front of the sling.
Step Four
Tighten the chicago screw with a flat head screwdriver. Make sure it is securely fastened to prevent the chicago screws from coming apart resulting in your firearm dropping.
If you’d like, you can apply a little glue (like Loctite) but make sure the sling is a comfortable length first because it may be very difficult to remove the chicago screw after it is glued.
Warning: Always ensure the sling is securely fastened and swivels properly installed on your firearm. Check that that chicago screws are fastened securely before each use. Always practice firearm safety, only use our products with a safe and unloaded firearm.
